California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery Announces 2024 Officers

[California, January 2024] – The California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery (CSIMS) is pleased to announce the election of its new officers for the year 2024. CSIMS, dedicated to advancing excellence in the field of industrial medicine, has selected a dynamic and accomplished team to lead the Society in its mission. 

Dr. Bobbie McDonald, a licensed psychologist, has been elected as the President of CSIMS. Dr. McDonald brings a wealth of experience in business, and a deep commitment CSIMS’ mission of education and advocacy. As President, she will play a pivotal role in steering the Society towards new heights of success.

Dr. Wayne Whelan will serve as the organization’s Vice President. Dr. Whelan's expertise in the industrial medicine field and his dedication to education make him a valuable addition to the leadership team. His insights will contribute significantly to achieving the Society's goals.

Dr. Yolanta Petrofsky will be taking on the role of CSIMS Treasurer.  She brings a strong sense of budget planning and fiscal responsibility that will be instrumental in ensuring CSIMS’ financial sustainability.

Dr. Maureen Miner will be acting Secretary for the 2024 term. Dr. Miner's organizational acumen and attention to detail will be vital in maintaining accurate records and effective communication within the Society.

The newly elected board is ready to lead CSIMS through 2024 with enthusiasm and vision. Their combined expertise and dedication will undoubtedly ensure the success and growth of CSIMS in the coming year.
