The Industrial Commission has given notice that it intends to amend Rule 04 NCAC 10E .0203, Fees Set by the Commission.
The fee to process a compromise settlement agreement would increase from $400, to $430, to be paid 50% by the employee and 50% by the employer/carrier, effective March 1.
The increase would be effective until July 1, 2021, and then would revert to $400, the proposed amendment states.
The increase is necessary to raise $1.2 million over 40 months as authorized by the General Assembly to replace and maintain the commission’s case management systems.
Until July 1, 2021...
